  1. Scope
    1. The following data protection notice applies to use of the website www.spiraltecgmbh.com and the services offered therein.     2. Protecting your personal data is important to us, especially respect for your personal rights when processing and using this information. In the following we inform you about the collection of personal data when you use our website. Personal data means all data which can identify you personally, such as name, address, email addresses, user behaviour.
  2. Automatic data collection and processing by the browser
    1. As with any website, our server automatically and temporarily collects information in the server log files which are sent through the browser, unless you have deactivated this function. If you wish to view our website we collect the following data, which is technically necessary for us to be able to show you our website and guarantee its stability and safety (legal basis Art. 6 (1)(f) GDPR):

      • IP address of the requesting computer
      • the client's file request
      • the http response code
      • the website from which you are visiting us (referrer URL)
      • the time of the server request
      • browser type and version
      • operating system used on the requesting computer

        There is no personal evaluation of the server log file. At no point can the provider connect this data to a particular person. This data is not consolidated with other data sources.

    2. The data cited in section 2.1, with the exception of the IP address, is also collected and processed by an additional programme which conducts statistical evaluation. The statistical evaluation is used for advertising and market research purposes and to ensure that the design of our online presence meets requirements (legal basis is Art. 6 (1)(f) GDPR). No personal data is stored during this evaluation. Anonymous user profiles are created from the data collected. Cookies can be used for this purpose (see section 5 for general information on this topic). The data collected by the statistical programme cannot be used to personally identify the user of the website because the data is not combined with personal data.
  3. Data collection and processing of data which is shared voluntarily
    1. General contact details

      If you share personal data with us by email or through our website (surname, first name, email address, postal address), this is generally on a voluntary basis. This data is used to manage the contractual relationship, to process your requests and/or orders, for our own market research or customer surveys and for advertising by us via post and email. There are no other uses, in particular regarding the sharing of data with third parties for advertising, market research or customer survey purposes. We delete data gathered in this connection once retention is no longer necessary, or restrict processing if there is a legal obligation to retain it. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1)(b) GDPR or Art. 6 (1)(f) GDPR
    2. Careers

      We regularly provide information about current vacancies on our careers page and you can submit applications to us by email. Your details (name, email address, contact details, application documents) are only processed in connection with the relevant job application (Art. 6 (1)(b) GDPR, Art. 26 German Federal Data Protection Act) or in accordance with your consent to their being used for other job applications (Art. 6 (1)(a) GDPR). If you have consented to let us process your application data, you can revoke this at any time.

      Note on sensitive data: we would like to expressly draw your attention to the fact that applications, especially CVs, references and other data that you provide to us, may contain particularly sensitive information about mental and physical health, race or ethnicity, political views, religious or philosophical convictions, membership of a union or political party or about sexuality.

      If you provide us with this type of information in your online application, you give your express consent to our processing this data for the purpose of processing your application. This data will be processed in accordance with this data protection notice and the other legal provisions in force.

      If your application is rejected or you are not offered the position, the data provided will be deleted 3 months after the application process closes, at the earliest. This shall not apply if there are legal provisions forbidding deletion, retention is necessary as evidence in an appeal or if you have consented to longer retention.
  4. Disclosure to third parties
    1. If you have shared personal data with us, we will not generally disclose it to third parties. Disclosure will only take place

      • if you have given your consent (see section 3.2). When data is collected, you will be told the recipients or categories of recipient.
      • in the context of processing your requests, your orders and the use of our services, to authorised subcontractors who receive the necessary data only in order to perform this task and for associated purposes.
      • to external service providers in the context of commissioned data processing in accordance with Art. 28 GDPR. These have been carefully selected and commissioned by us, are bound by our instructions and the provisions of GDPR and are inspected regularly.
      • in the context of meeting legal obligations to bodies entitled to receive information
  5. Cookies
    1. The website uses cookies. Cookies are small text files which are stored locally in your browser's cache. The following types of cookie, the scope and functionality of which are explained below, are used on this website:

      • Persistent cookies (see 5.3).
